The Chamber board met September, 2006, at 7:30 A.M. at the VFW building.

CUP SALES: There are still 2006 cups. They are great to give as gifts filled with candy etc. Remember $2.00 of each 2006 cup sale goes to the Adrian Community Library. A small amount of the cost helps the chamber with its cost. GIVE CHAMBER CUPS!!

SUGGENTIONS: Feel free to make suggestions as to how the Chamber can promote business in Adrian.

BAT: August BAT was held at Hubbard’s Construction and Don Arndt’s new location on main street. Everyone enjoyed seeing the new office. It is really nice and a great addition to down town. Willow Creek will host the October BAT. They are located next to Hubbard construction’s office. The October Bat will begin at 7:30 AM. The date will be chosen by the next newsletter. If you would like to host a BAT please let us know. The Chamber phone number is 297-0004.

CHAMBER LUNCHEON: The quarterly luncheon is scheduled for September 15th at Wimfield's on Main from 12:00 to 1:00. MoDOT will be there to give the program and answer questions. The menu has changed to a 1 trip salad bar and drink for $5.00. This includes tip. Please RSVP to Patsy Lemon or the Chamber office by September 14th, so we can give the restaurant a count. Please put this on your calendar. RSVP to patsylemon@sbcglobal.net or chamber office 297-0004. We all have to eat lunch so let’s get together. We hope to see everyone there!

CHAMBER BUCKS: Over the past few years $8171.00 in Chamber bucks has been spent with Adrian businesses. Give them for gifts or prizes. They can be bought at either Adrian or Citizen’s Banks. They must then be redeemed at an Adrian Chamber business and can’t be cashed out. Remember this money stays in Adrian.

NEW TEACHER WELCOME BAGS: We filled and distributed 12 new teacher bags. We continue to fill bags for new residents of Adrian. They are given out at the city hall and PSWD#5 offices. If you would like your business represented leave your items at the chamber office.
