The Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met June 5th 2008 at 7:30 at the VFW Building.

** Saturday June 21st the Chamber of Commerce will provide funding for the evening meal for The 1st National Micro Mini Scale Model Exhibitors at the Annual Steam & Gas Engine Show. Also the Chamber has decided to purchase half (13) of the new 2x3 U.S. Flags for
the Main Street.**

New Members: Welcome our newest members The Dance Craze, and Rusty’s Peculiar Chiropractic and Acupuncture.

Membership Dues: Dues are still $35.00 and may be paid at the Chamber Office or
mailed to the Chamber of Commerce @ PO Box 303.

Bat: Our next BAT will be held at Wimfield’s on Main this Friday June 13th at 12:00 (noon)
Those present are responsible for their meal, the Chamber will pay for your drinks(soft preferably). Our program is tentative at this time, but you will be entertained. Remember BAT (Business About Town ) is held the 2nd Friday of each month. Please let me know if you want to host a monthly BAT meeting. This is a great opportunity to get together with other members.

Highlights: Our June Highlight will be Associates in Family Care. Let us know if
you haven’t been highlighted or would like to be highlighted again.

Chamber Cups: Our 2008 Collectible cups are still on sale. They may be purchased at several locations for $5.00 each. They make great affordable gifts, and look great with flowers in them. We still have a few cups left from past years, for those that are missing some. Remember Father’s Day!!!!!

Garage Sale: The annual C of C garage sale has come and gone. It was held on Sat. June 7th, with 33 participants. It was another successful Chamber Event and the weather was good.
