The Chamber of Commerce Board of directors met February 7th 2008 at 7:30 at the VFW building.

New Board Members: This was the first meeting for the newly elected board. Those Positions are Pres. Curtis Reynolds; Sec. Linda Oldfield; Treas. Elbert Scrogham; with Andy Enos, Kip Yoss, Alice Cumpton and Phil Oates as board members.

Annual Chamber Banquet: The Annual Chamber Banquet will be held March 7th 2008 at the Frontier Village. Plan on attending a great evening and a great meal. All members will be contacted by phone, if you plan to attend please RSVP with payment or acknowledgement, so we can place accurate meal numbers. The charge will be $11.00 per person. You may pay in advance at the Chamber Office , The Adrian Journal or mail them in to the Chamber of Commerce at P.O. Box 303 Adrian, Mo. 64720. The Chamber will welcome any giveaways that can be given as door prizes during the evening.

Membership Dues: Dues are $35.00 and may be paid at the Chamber Office or mailed to the Chamber of Commerce. Elbert will also be collecting dues at the Annual Banquet.

BAT: BAT was held at the Adrian Manor on February 8th 2008. Remember BAT (Business About Town) is held the 2nd Friday of the month. There will not be a BAT in March due to the Annual Banquet.

Highlights: Our February business highlights will be Gross Insurance Agency. Let us know if you haven’t been highlighted or would like to be highlighted again.
