The Chamber board met March 2, 2006 at the VFW building with all board members present.

MEMBERSHIP: Many members have renewed their membership. Membership dues of $25.00 may be mailed to the Adrian Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 303, Adrian, MO 64720 or may be paid at the banquet March 17th. Remember the cut off date is March 31st. We hope everyone will join the Chamber in 2006. Membership certificates are being distributed. Hang them in your business with pride.

WEB SITE: No changes have been made as no new events have been reported for posting. The membership list will be revised after the cutoff date of March 31st. Notify Patsy for event postings at 297-2438 or patsylemon@sbcglobal.net.

CUP SALES: Sales continue to progress. Cups from previous years are selling out so if you want any contact Curtis at the Chamber office. Steve Oldfield presented the Purple Martin cup to the governor recently. Our cups may become famous. Remember $2.00 of every 2006 cup sale goes to the new Library. 2006 cups cost $8.00. Be sure to get yours.

BANQUET: The Annual Chamber Banquet is scheduled for March 17, 2006 at Frontier Village. This is always a fun event with a wonderful meal. Andy and Don will once again be hosting so get ready for a good time. Door prizes will be given out so if you have an item you want to donate drop it by the Chamber office or bring it to the banquet. Please let Curtis know if you plan to attend as we need to give the Frontier Village Ladies a count and we must guarantee that count. The cost is $11.00 a plate. There will be a table for payment of the meal and another for membership dues and Chamber cups. This is to allow those who have paid for their meal in advance to avoid the long line. Remember to pre-register if you are coming. The chamber phone number is 297-0004.

BAT: No bat will be held this month since we will all get together at the banquet. Plan to attend the April BAT at Ethan’s Auto Repair April 21. This is a time when Chamber members can get together and exchange news and ideas. We have a good time and always good food. This begins at 7:00 and ends around 8:15. Come and go as you can. It is a great chance to meet with other business owners and community members. If you would like to host a BAT, let Patsy know or notify Curtis at the chamber office.

THANKS: Thanks go to Don Arndt for writing the Newsletter for the past years. This is a big job and he always brought us the news with humor.
